About this tour

Sail along the Bosphorus Strait between two continents, visit Dolmabahce Palace, Pierre Loti Hill, The holly Eyup Sultan Mosque & Tomb and Golden Horn.

After meeting your guide at departure point for half day morning Dolmabahçe Palace tour, climb aboard your luxury coach and head to the Palace. Dolmabahçe Palace is the symbol of Westernization of the 19th century. It was built by Sultan Abdulmecid between 1843-1856 then the headquarter of Ottoman Empire moved from Topkapı Palace to Dolmabahçe Palace. It was used by the Ottoman Sultans until November 1, 1922. It is situated on an area of 110 thousand square meters, dominating the magnificent view of the Bosphorus.

Then we visit Bezmiâlem Vâlide Sultan Mosque. It has one of the most unique architecture among the Ottoman mosques in Istanbul. The
mosque was commissioned by Bezmialem Valide Sultan in 1852, who was the mother of Ottoman sultan Abdülmecid I. The architect of the Mosque is Armenian origin Garabet Balyan. The mosque’s architecture is a successful and classy blend of Baroque and Empire architectural styles.

Enrout to Spice Bazaar and free time for Shopping. The Spice Bazaar in Istanbul, Turkey is one of the largest bazaars in the city. Located in the Eminönü quarter of the Fatih district, it is the most famous covered shopping complex after the Grand Bazaar.

After The Lunch we ride on a Bosphorus Cruise. Enjoy the historical sightseeing from the sea by seeing the Golden horn, Topkapı palace, Dolmabahce palace, The Hagia Sophia Mosque, Maiden’s tower, Galata tower, Blue mosque, Ortakoy mosque, and the two continents Europe and Asia with the two Bridges connecting them.

After the Cruise climb aboard your luxury coach and head to Eyup Sultan Mosque by Golden Horn. It is a natural horn-shaped bay that divides the European side of Istanbul into two. On this tour, you will see historical wooden houses, churches, synagogues, mosques and the remains of the Roman Wall.

After we visit Eyup Sultan Mosque and Abu Eyup Alansari Tomb (Abu Ayyub al-Ansari was the standard bearer and companion of Muhammad. It is an important site for Muslims) The Eyüp Sultan Mosque is one of the most holy and important mosques in all of Turkey. It is so revered because it located on the site of the tomb of Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (Eyüp Ensari in Turkish) – who was both a friend and standard bearer for the Prophet Muhammed, and was killed during the first Arab siege of Constantinople (674-678).

Then we ascent to the Pierre Loti Hill by bus. You can take a phote in this beautiful place with a perfect view of the Golden Horn. This hill got its name from the famous French novelist who lived in Istanbul for a while and wrote his novel “Aziyade”. Then we descent from Pierre Loti Hill by cable car.
